Whoever thought this plot twist up, they're making a pretty good job of turning Toru and his gang into the sort of villains you really, really hate. So even though I urgently want to see them receiving a righteous smackdown in the next episode, I'm also kind of hoping they escape to return again in

there's also the question of Willow's reaction given that she remembers all too clearly what happened last time this sort of thing occured. Will she freeze up? Will there be a big fight between her and Xander?Xander's reaction, Willow's reaction, Buffy's reaction, the other Slayers' reaction... you could draw any number of possible outcomes of this (though they still tend to reduce Renee to a plot device

Also... combining the earlier predictions:

1. Satsu tells Buffy she can't risk being around her, and stays behind in Japan as the new leader in place of Aiko.

2. Buffy and Co get home to Scotland, to find that Twilight attacked the empty castle and destroyed it.

3. So Buffy has to relocate her HQ to Japan... leading to a big clash and conflict of interests with Satsu, and much character drama (and humour).
