Three Things meme

Apr 09, 2010 00:39

As long-term readers will know, I hardly ever memes, especially ones about myself rather than about my work. But I'm also trying desperately not to look at anything 8.34-related, and menomegirl  called me out specifically to do this one, so what the hell...

If it's 'three things' why does the first question ask for six things? )

That is the least revealing meme I've ever seen! Sheesh!

And...contacts? What's wrong with glasses? You know that knocks off a few of your Sexy Points.

I know! That's why I did it; I rarely do those things.

But the internet LJ was made for over-sharing!

What? No Steverino?

5. Stevie-baby. (No, I don't know why.)

I know why! Hey, Stevie-baby!

THREE OF YOUR FAVORITE DRINKS

No tea? Are you feeling okay? You're starting to sound less British and I'm slightly worried.

1. That the Sunnydale Herald now has a 'Penguin Posts' section.

This made me smile too!

3. Something else that I can''t remember right now.

It must have been me! I know I bring joy to your life every single day. ♥

I know why!

As lavastar would say, Telllllllllllllll meeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I get twitchy when I see my name (or a variant of it) spelled with a 'v' instead of a 'ph'. It's a thing. It also confuses the heck out of non-native-English speakers, who haven't a clue how to pronounce it. :-)

No tea? Are you feeling okay? You're starting to sound less British and I'm slightly worried.

Were you not privy to that discussion before? I hate tea. Never drink the stuff. It's foul.

Also, coffee has a long and proud role in British history; Lloyds of London was founded in a coffee shop, and I'm pretty sure Samuel Johnson wrote the first English dictonary while sitting in a coffee shop.

If it makes you feel any better, the type of coffee I normally drink is instant granulated: put a spoonful in the mug then add hot water and milk. None of this filter stuff. I think that's authentically British.

It must have been me! I know I bring joy to your life every single day. ♥I did actually smile at that, so we can add it to the list. :-) But it's not true you ( ... )

Because it's fun, that's why! Silly you. I'd say it in this Classic Movie Diva voice. All Katherine Hepburn and "Stevie-baby" as I flicked the end of my cigarette.

Were you not privy to that discussion before? I hate tea. Never drink the stuff. It's foul.

No, you see, I think you're in denial. Tea is good with lots of sugar and served ice cold. (I do remember, darling. I was trying to get one over on you. Apparently it worked too well, hee!)

I did actually smile at that, so we can add it to the list. :-) But it's not true you know: sometimes you bring sadness to my life instead, when you're unhappy.

Awww. ♥

*blink* That's not tea. That's some odd foreign North Carolinan drink. Tea is made with boiling water.
Heathen.

Mind you, I did include an odd foreign drink in my own list - caipirinha - but that has alcohol in it, and the sugar only frosts the glass rather than being actually in the drink. And it's best drunk sitting on a terrace in Salvador, but that's another issue. :-)
