It is amazing how you can take a really serious subject and with a little banter somehow make me laugh. This is such an enjoyable read and the back and forth between B/C is a absolute delight. I love how even now they are still so cautious.

Blair looking at Naughty pictures was such a hoot. The little slip of a confessions was adorable. The line about blond's had me LOL!

These two are just so fun to write, and besides why make something so heavy with angst and ~srsness~ when you can throw in fun just to lighten things up?

First: “Maybe I like fighting crime.”
That was priceless, lol. It reminds me in season 1 when they tracked Serena at teh Ostroff center and that Blair made that comment about Chuck and CIA or FBI, don't remember.

That said, I absolutely loved this chapter. The relationship between Blair and Chuck is fun, realistic and so very well written, full of little details.
Love love love it!

I'll read chapter 3 after dinner. ;)

Heh, yeah, that was CIA ("if you weren't such a perv, the CIA would hire you in a second"). Gosh, why is their dialogue always such snarky perfection that I have to remember it?

CIA! That's it, thanks. I don't know but I remember some of their dialogue too (I love the one at Bart's wedding) while I'm unable to quote one word from Serena or Dan... lol.

Same here, C/B just get the best lines, hands down.
