and for a change, have my nice, hot, WARM icon ;P ... and my portfolio site (!!)

So, yes, it was rather frisky today, and I should have known better than to wear jeans, which are the bane of winter time, but... I mean, it was my fault, so I know better than to whine about it. I'll just say, YES, I did the teeny chicken hop more than once while waiting for the bus ( Read more... )

I'm terribly sorry to report that Firefox2(Mac) isn't displaying it right either (nor is the current Safari or Camino).

All display the same way, which you can see here.

Damn damn damn. I know the guy at Concordia was looking at my site on Safari from a Mac, and it was the green links section that was displaying all funky. So, I am currently hating css (though I love coding it...?) because ARGH!

By any chance, would you have any idea how I could fix that? I asked my prof, and he hasn't replied yet. I've been fiddling with conditional css for IE for days, and that doesn't seem to want to work either. *grumble-grumble-hate-hate*

Why won't all browsers be nice and display alike? Huh, whyyyy?

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up. I'll go crawl in a hole and... try to fix this like a madwoman. *sigh*

(which Concordia campus, btw? My sister went to their Portland one)

I don't really have any ideas at the moment, mainly because I'm dealing with my own code nightmare (this one in PHP/MySQL), but I'll try to give your CSS a look when I get a chance.

Any chance you can send me a .zip with your site contents so I can toy with it myself? ryan at biesdesign dot com

(or make an index2.htm that points to "http://files.biesdesign.com/lj/graphicdesign/070209_stormandsins.css" for its CSS?)

Umm, Portland? I don't think they're affiliated... Nah, I'm hoping to get into Concordia in Montreal. And here's the Computation Arts website: click. I don't really like their site. I much prefer the Design & Computation Arts and Fine Arts websites. Much cleaner.

Ooh, good luck with the PHP/MySQL coding. I did dab a little in PHP and I'm just not that comfortable enough to play around with it. But then again, I'm comfortable with css and it's giving me nightmares... Ah well.

And before I forget, I created an index2.htm. By the way, thank you so much for wanting to help :)
