My induction…
Some would call it elective because I asked Dr. Campbell to strip my membranes at 36w1d. If that didn’t work then I was willing to let things go a while - at least until the next week.

Maia is on her way.
I've been on the pitocin for about 3 hours now with ruptured membranes for about an hour -

Maia's birth story so far... No she is NOT here yet....
Just an update. Maia is measurign over 8 ppounds, doc stripped my membranes tuesday afternoon. I'm posting this from teh hospital, I seem to be in labor. Please send as many "make progress" vibes as you can - I dont' want to be sent home for lack of progress. We hav eno power int eh house now due to ice storm taking out the local transformers.

Woman suspected of witchcraft burned alive
(CNN) -- A woman in rural Papua New Guinea was bound and gagged, tied to a log and set ablaze on a pile of tires this week, possibly because villagers suspected her of being a witch, police said Thursday.
