LOL I dunno, I thought I only knew ya from here, but we may know each other in other circles. :p I'm the one at FCC usually running around in a shift and sheep hat, baahing at people. XD
Back in 96/97 I was running around with the St. Murphy's crew. I spent the couple seasons after that listing with Bacchus and MacLeods. Haven't done too much since then, but I've not found anything in SoCal that I really want to participate in. :/
Ah. I'm with St. Mag's; although they are now as of this season St. Matthius'. *shrug* I'm trying to get a guild of my own going, hopefully in the next year- St. Christina's. If AZ isn't too far for ya to get to, I used to work that one. It runs, I believe, six weeks or so, end of Feb through March. That one was always a lot of fun, although I haven't had a chance to go back since I moved back to CA and Baj (former AZ Queen) passed on from cancer (same year I moved)...
Well, assuming we actually go to work this time, we wouldn't be around to hang out with until 3ish anyways... There's always Monday night when (yes, when, not if... :-P ) you come up for the Red Elvises show.
By the way, I tried to add you to Yahoo (same username as here) and I wasn't sure if it took. Your yahoo website profile shows that you're online, but my IM program doesn't show you on. Not sure which one is wrong... *shrug*
LOL Yes, I'll be up Monday, but might not be able to stay overnight. I'm a bit low on gas money, and my friend Maggie (you've met her at a couple TKT shows, I think) who wants to come to the show as well will have to get home again at some point as I'd be her ride up there. Not that we have much going on for Tuesday, but I don't know where she'd crash if we stayed... Well, if you want me to wander up after the inventory on Wed, I'd be happy to oblige provided I can scrape up extra gas money. :) But I DO have to be to work by noon-thirty on Thurs. As for Yahoo, I've been logged into Yahoo Mail, but don't have msgr on the work computer (haven't yet found a way around the block on dl'ing programs on the system). If I plug my phone in, I can get on via mobile, though. But haven't done that yet today...
You know we'd love to have you come up on Wed (or any time you feel up to it), but I completely understand if it doesn't work out. Don't want to make you go broke making multiple trips up here in a week... How much does it cost you in gas round trip anyways?
As for Yahoo, you can possibly try WebMessenger. You can find it at http://messenger.yahoo.com/ down at the bottom of the page where there's a link that says "Launch Web Messenger." It runs as a java program in a new browser window, so nothing to download or install. It does require Java to be installed, but usually your browser will already have the plugin.
It's not so bad, I can get up and back on one tank of gas. Granted, it's the whole tank, but it's better than the rest of the vehicles my family owns! LOL It runs me about $35 to fill the tank from empty. It generally isn't such an issue, but I'm supposed to be moving to the new place on the 1st *crosses fingers* and the multiple trips there and back in the same week are going to wreck havoc on my budget simply because it's so tight for this week. On the other hand, I can generally always snag a $20 off of JustNate if I need to. LOL As for Yahoo, I tried that and it doesn't like the Java appl, it keeps giving me a red X in the corner of the window. :-/ Ah well. It's not a big deal. I just need to pop on a 'puter that has msgr and make sure all the new contacts are accepted/added, then I'll be able to pull ya up on my phone's version. :)
