[Cloud's finally back in his apartment. The Jigoberry is propped up against something,on the floor, though giving a good view of most of the room and one of the walls, though Cloud himself is absent from the frame. Somewhere in the background, there's the sound of quiet, struggling breathing.]

[How nice of you. Nothing much is happening, and he doesn't realise the phone is even on, too busy coughing up flecks of lung.]

[On, on. It clicks in his head that the phone is nearby. He's fumbling with the phone by now as others try to contact him, smearing the screen with blood.]

[If anything could keep him conscious, it's definitely that yelling, though he still isn't coherent enough to realise it's coming from the phone. All you get is more of that awful gurgling, choking sound, which might be him trying to talk.]

Oh, SON OF A WHORE. [Mika is already shouting for someone to get Zack or Angeal on the phone. Somebody around here should still have their healing magic, right? Right?]

[After giving up on trying to find the end-call button, He pushes the phone face-down against the carpet. You don't need to see this.]

[fortunately - or unfortunately, however you look at it - Cloud is amazingly resilient. At the sound of Zack's voice, he shifts, a blurry hand reaches for the phone but only manages to leave bloody fingermarks on the screen.]
