I mean, I had read the first novel when it came out so I did have a bit of background, but I found it really easy to follow.

you should have a look. The main characters are all kinda annoying (especially Pippa imo, I wanted to punch her all the time, especially spirit Pippa xD), but they do grow a lot and it's pretty good YA fiction imo.

This is great! I wasn't a huge fan of the books, but the premise is cool and you've captured Gemma's story really well. I love the art and layout, too.

Oh, it's nice to have such a detailed summary! This series sounds really interesting, I'll see if I give it a go. Your choice of songs is nice, your artwork is so DARN PRETTY, and there's really only one thing I'd like to point out... I might be wrong about that, but the lyrics under MS MR's Bones aren't really lyrics for that song, I think. I googled it, and I think they belong to a Barenaked Ladies song called Half a Heart. Maybe you got the song wrong? The song in the mix was actually Bones.
