Patrick had the television on one morning and I happened to open my eyes to Billy’s new wife giving out money-saving recipes, such as substituting shrimp in a lobster salad.

One recipe caught my ear/eye and I decided to give it a try.  Rather than filet mignon, purchase skirt steak.  Marinate in fresh lime juice, olive oil, garlic, freshly ground

Flank Steak doesn't absorb a marinade like a skirt steak does. Next time, get a real skirt steak and keep it in the marinade for at least 6 hours.

It was marinated for that long, but the supermarket didn't have any skirt.
