A Good Deed

Happy endings are always good :-) I'm afraid these days I just wouldn't be that brave. Thirty years ago I would have done as you did, but now... Well, thirty years ago I used to pick up hippy hitch-hikers too. Times have changed!

It was mainly the idea of them being in a foreign country, walking around pulling tons of luggage, having no cell phone or proper contacts, that drove me to my decision.
