Thrift Store Finds

Aug 09, 2016 14:19

I dropped off a nightstand at a thrift store today and left with three volumes of "not for children" (according to the covers) yaoi manga. Sure, I'll take those! Don't know if they're any good, but what the hell. Even funnier is that they were at a Salvation Army store.

I also got the 1974 orchestral recording of Tubular Bells on CD.

I've always liked that album.

No comment on the manga. :-p

I'd never heard it before; it's nifty!

The covers had pretty boys with long hair and wings and things. I couldn't say no!

I know I've seen a copy around my parents' house too. I think that's the way I first listened to the original version.

Sounds like a great find! What's the manga called? :D

They are actually three different manga:

*Spirit Marked
*Prisoner of the Immortal
*a third one I can't remember that I'm not going to look at because it's in the bedroom where Danae is sleeping and I don't want to wake her.

I also got the first two volumes of Cat Paradise, which seems like Inubaka, but with cats!

I haven't heard of any of those, but the cat one sounds like fun! :) Hope they're enjoyable reads.
