i renewed my bally's membership. i have a new card on the way (hopefully with my new name...how is it that changing my name on my gym membership was more complicated than changing my bank account, credit cards and drivers license combined?). the membership will not expire for two full years. i'm tracking my fruit/vegetable servings ( Read more... )

If you can swing it, a personal trainer is a great way to get motivated. Mine really got me on the right track and it was worth the money.

I would totally do it with you if I lived in the Cities. I want to start going here, but I realize I'm going to have to start fighting the urge to nap after work. :-(

I'll be your long distance health buddy! I'm starting a new regimen when I start my new job this next week. Training up for another big race as well as trying to lose weight, work on overall strength, and eat better. We could come up with personal goals and corresponding presents for ourselves!

ooh! that sounds great! although i have to watch it on the present thing, because my brain does things like "hey, i ate all my vegetables and drank enough water this week! time to treat myself to five cookies and a night of sitting on the couch with four rental movies!" heh. i have an idea. let's make a facebook fitness support group. :)
