So, this Thursday I'll wake up around 5am, leave by 6am, and drive 800 or so miles to Charlotte NC. Then I'll crash at my sister's place. On the 8th I'll wake up and wait until 10am when the office opens, go downstairs, sign some papers and hand them a check, then proceed back to the garage and drive up two floors to hopefully park next to the door

But, if I can manage to earn $30,000 a year, my income will exceed my expenses by roughly $400 a month. Plus I may be able to get my rent dropped by switching from a six month to a twelve month (or longer) lease, my car will be paid for in full by the end of that six months, and I have no outstanding debts such as credit cards, student loans, or similar things.
Between my education, experience, minimum threshold for pay, and the fact that Charlotte's one of the few major urban areas that's experiencing job growth, I'm thinking my odds there are as good as anywhere.
