Just heard that Raúl is supposed to be guest staring in Pushing Daisies. The role, original to be played by Paul Ruebens, is that of Alfredo Aldarisio, a homeopathic antidepressant salesman.

Yay! I'm glad he'll be back on Broadway so soon.

Raúl's going to be the Stage Manager in a one-night reading of Our Town on August 17 at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Williamstown is seriously out in nowhere (Western Mass.), but if you're in the area or up for a road trip, check it out. The June 30 performances of Company were filmed! There'll be a PBS broadcast as part of their Great Performances series at some point, as well as a DVD release. I am BEYOND OVERJOYED about this, especially the DVD part!

I haven't posted about the Tonys because I've really just been too upset. I'm sure most (if not all) of you know anyway, but just in case:

1. Company won Best Revival of a Musical
2. Raúl lost to David Hyde Pierce in Curtains for Best Leading Performance by an Actor in a Musical
