I was so confused when I started reading this because I was like, "Uhh, isn't this the exact same thing that happened at the end of the last chapter? Is Hannah losing it??"
But then I got my head in the game and figured it out. :D

Anyhoo, this was a great chapter. I loved getting to see Brittany realize what it was that was bothering Santana and then having the encounter with Meghan to exacerbate it.

holding her safe until whatever it is that scares her leaves them alone

Haha, sorry if it was confusing! (I was hoping people would get it because I'd done a similar thing with the party in parts 3/4, but this is the first time the different povs have overlapped, so. Anyway, not important.)

Brittany point of view *swoon*

Brittany POV is my ultimate weakness. Because so few authors can do it right, or even attempt it. (For the record, you do it very right). And I think this one is very well placed to play off of chapter 5, since the reader spends the last segment of that chapter feeling bad for Santana and wallowing with her. But really, Brittany has it just as bad. She has had to deal with Santana emotionally locking her out for years. It's so easy to forget that and just go 'oh well Santana got cold shouldered for Artie, poor her.' I love seeing that no one is totally in the right in this situation.

I hope you do more from Britt's POV in the future because I do love how you write her!

I always wanted to do both sides of this moment with the split pov (I'd tried to do it more subtly in earlier parts so it wouldn't be so out of the blue when it happened here...) because like you point out, neither of them are particularly in the right here. I'm glad my Brittany pov worked for you! I don't write her that often, just because I think I have a better handle on Santana, but I'm not opposed to more Britt pov in the future, so we'll see how it goes.
