I love how you intercut the sex with the story, and the theme of manipulation for these two was just perfect.

A story had begun. Awesome.

This is the first fanfic I've ever written that isn't for a tv show. It is, if not the hardest fic I've ever written, then probably the second-hardest. I'm happy with the result.

Heh, no problem. In fact, I kinda hope you'll continue to write fics about Lord Asriel and Mrs. Coulter. I think there's too few people in the fandom but hopefully when the movie comes out that will be remedied.

=D I hope so, too! What often happens to me is I get a pairing or fandom out of my system, and then I'll sometimes come back to them later. It's certainly not that I lose interest; I love this ship with all my heart and will never tire of it, it's just that now I need to sit back and wait for another plot bunny. But we'll see! Hee, long response to short statement; sorry!

I agree wholeheartedly. I wish this fandom was bigger, and I truly think it will be in *checks* 38 days! Especially since it's Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. People know them and are into them. This might also lead to a lot of crap written about them by people who don't even realize there are books as well, but I guess it's always a two-sided coin.

This was such a fantastic story - I think I read it over at ff.net, but I'm not sure if I reviewed it there (my penname at ff.net is stsgirlie), but anyway, this was an AMAZING fic! I really feel that you captured Marisa and Asriel's relationship extraordinarily well. Great job!
