Yes, we do accept reports of plagiarism that happens in places other than LiveJournal.

It looks like the FFN staff have pulled the ID in question. From what you've described, I'm sure they'll be back. If in the future this person posts other people's stories, either forward or reverse, please let us know.

Yeah, sorry, it got pulled before the mods here accepted my post. But it's nice to know I have somewhere to report if he pulls this again.

Sadly I don't think he will, because now he's moved on to sending fifty-odd copies of the same obscene review to everyone he can find.

Did you save copies of this person's versions of the original authors' works? For example, copy-and-pasting it into MS Word and saving it? I'm conducting some independent research on plagiarism and I'm interested in comparing the originals versus the plagiarized versions. If not, would you mind saving copies next time you see it? I'd really appreciate it, bc. it's so hard for me to find plagiarized docs which are NOT word-for-word, and I rely on this community a lot for them. Thanks. :-)

I'm afraid not. All he did anyway was take stuff I'd posted on the site and run it through a text-reversal program (or possibly sit there typing it out backwards, I'm not sure and he's stupid enough to do that).
