Plagiarism in the Dragon Age fandom by Jaden Anderson

Hi!

I'll be the mod working on your case. Thank you for the extensive screencapping and comparing of fics. This looks like it may be a tricky one so you may not hear back for a day or so.

I completely understand! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to work on this, especially since it isn't a simple copy-and-paste issue. If you'd like more comparisons or even scene-by-scene breakdowns I'd be happy to provide, since I've spent a disproportionate amount of time staring at these fics over the last few days. :) And of course, any perspective you can offer in the end (even if it's just that I'm overreacting!) I'll be very grateful for, as this is obviously not something I'm completely objective about.

Thanks again for getting to this so quickly! :)

Slam. Dunk. Done like dinner, ladies and gentlemen.

The author has changed their ff.n handle to "Done.Writing.For.Fanfiction" and sent me this.

"There really is no case to be made. I see the report and can definitely understand. What was done was not intentional, and the stories have been removed. As you can see, I have not been writing fanfiction for months now, and have decided to remove the account. I hope this clears everything up."

For the record, I PMed the author approximately 2 hours ago as of the timestamp on this comment, and got this PM back 18 minutes ago.
