Oh lordy - the return of the evil, fic-stealing friend. That cliché has been absent from the last couple of cases and I foolishly hoped we'd seen the last of it. It hasn't been gone long enough for its return to be "retro" either...

It's also interesting how the writing only becomes a joint effort after the plagiarism comes to light - implying that unless there's an accusation, it's okay to ignore someone else's contribution to the fic.

In other words: even if it had been true, it still would have problems as an excuse.
