The case against "Lazybones89/FoxieFirefly"

First, fair warning, this report is going to get long, complicated, contains objectionable language, and image heavy. With that out of the way...

On February 21st izzanami  reported a fanfiction.net user, Lazybones89, had plagiarized several authors in the InuYasha fandom. The original case can be found here.  This case is unique and I'm going to take it

Random Comment: I'll confess to missing the Wild West atmosphere of newsgroups sometimes, and boy, does this particular move take me back!

The ol' setting up the sock puppet in order to:
1. Attack yourself so you can garner pity, support, and more importantly, the attention of others.
2. Attack 'friends' you secretly despise.

And yes, it's generally the sign of a disturbed mind. Good luck with this one. :-\

I don't think any sock-puppet will ever top that sock-puppet case, but this one was way to familiar when I read through your write up. There were just so many simularities.

*chuckle* Yeah, I guessed before I got to the "reveal" in the report that Lazybones89/FoxieFirefly were most likely the same person. We had way too many of these over the years in XF.

Lucky 7 is mine, the other three, with their proper titles and links to the authors' real posts are included in the comment (and I notified the other authors)... and yes, the four of us seem to be her target. I just skimmed through this whole report and I'm not sure it's the same person. Though it could be.

Mostly we're pissed at getting such an incompetent plagiarist wannabe. I mean really. She's not very good at this. But we are thinking of dedicating the new kink!comm to her. :-)

I found out about this page (which I am glad is archived for future reference, concidering some of the previous fandom wank) because someone asked somewhere for help getting the fanfics removed. I won't say what group here, as I am not a member, but I appriciate what they are trying to do and how they are doing it and I don't want them trolled. I followed a link provided though on one of the fanfics. Off to read the other post.
