stangerine88 brought this case to our attention on the 5th of January. The ff.net user 'Im-Crazy-Like-That' was accused of plagiarizing stories by stangerine88 and belyste. Shortly after stangerine88 contacted 'Im-Crazy-Like-That' and submitted her report to us the stories were pulled, removed (I presume) by 'Im-Crazy-Like-That'. stangerine88 managed to get screen caps of her stories, I have ( Read more... )

At least the plagiarist is now using parenthetical quotes. Are we supposed to see that an acknowledgment that the friend is fake?

Perhaps when sending the email, the stop_plagiarism mod can start off her/his letter with, "And I don't want to hear that it's your friend. Don't. Just don't. Because you and I know that friend doesn't exist and let's try to retain some dignity, eh?"

Man, that "friend" is a busy lad/lass! Just think how few cases of plagiarism there would be if we could only get that friend to stop!
