Demyx was excited to take care of little kids. He would teach them how to draw and all sorts of things! He was already writing down ideas for his schedule before he perked up, hearing a knock at the door. Which was strange since he wasn't used to people knocking at the door. Maybe it was for one of his roommates? Maybe Roxas looking for Axel ( ... )

All he had to do was gut him here. It would take a second. Two seconds. One hand through the abdomen and it would be all over. The idiot would never know what hit him. But Envy wasn't going to kill him. No. It wasn't as fun killing someone this stupid if he could hurt him and make him learn. Then, if, while nursing his wounds, he still didn't remember the lesson, Envy would probably kill him.

The little girl moved her hands to the small of her back and rocked on her heels in her little pink shoes. "Hey, mister! You're gonna be the new daycare teacher, right?"

Easy.

Easy.

Easy.

So easy that it was laughable. But Envy kept his facade. Kept the appearance. Any little slip would let Demyx know that something was wrong and Envy didn't want that to happen until he'd had his fun.

Not until he was ready to reveal himself.

Demyx smiled a little more carefree as he stared at the little girl and nodded. "Why yes I am!" he said as he rested his hand one knee. He blinked slightly as he craned his neck outside of the doorway. There wasn't anyone with the little girl? She looked to be only five! He frowned tightly and stared back at her, shaking a finger at her.

"I don't think little girls should be running around on space ships all on their own!" Whatever happened to the buddy system? "Why are you here, little girl? I don't start teaching for a while..."

"I wanted to meetcha!" the girl declared with a proud little nod. "My mommy's waiting for me. She said I can be a big girl and come see you!"

The little girl's lower lip trembled. Was this how Demyx planned to treat all the kids? Tell them that they didn't belong somewhere and act so fucking displeased to see them? The little shits would be screaming within moments.

"Do I hafta leave?"

Not that he would. It was up to him when he decided to leave.

Demyx's eyes widened at the sight of her trembling lip. The worst thing that could happen to a baby sitter was to have a crying child on their hands because it was the baby sitter's fault. He waved his hand, trying to push away the subject. "No no no no! D-Don't cry! You can stay! I-It's nice to meet you!" He smiled wider, trying to show her everything was okay. Besides, if he started to make every kid cry at the daycare, he would surely lose the job or something! This was a little harder than he thought.

He swallowed hard and laughed lightly.

"I'm Demyx by the way. And you are?"
