Pinkie had ran towards Sui Feng's place, she wanted to warn her that something was about to happen on Thor (thanks to her pinkie sense telling her).

And that's when she notices she is a cross the street. How lucky of her.

"Sui-Feng!!" she smiles, oh, the power of friendship was even making her go faster.
And she didn't even felt like her hoofs were on the ground anymore.

And their bodies meet, getting glued to one another for some reason. Well, not what she was planning, but it worked also.

"Sui-Feng! Sui-Feng! Something is about to happen- oh?" she looks at her left hoof, it had stopped feeling cold "It just happened!" she comes to the conclusion.

If you ask Suì-Fēng, she has no idea how this happened. One day a pink small horse has decided she would become her best friend and never leave her alone ever, and that's it. No amount of insults, cold replies or offensive comments had made her give up.

So, it's no surprise that as soon as she hears the pony's voice her right eyebrow starts twitching. But, maybe she'll be lucky, this time? Maybe they will repel each other? She's seen it on the guide, she knows it's possible.

"No such luck." She says to herself as a cloud of pink, curly hair (mane?) headbutts her right shoulder. Breathe in, breathe out, don't hit the horse it wouldn't solve anything.

"What exactly made you think coming close to me when 'something is about to happen' would be a good idea?"

"I wanted to make sure you were okay" Her blue eyes blink with happiness and care.

It's then that she notices that she is unable to un-stuck herself to Sui-Feng's embrace.

"Oh! That's why the pinkie sense stopped warning me! It already happened!" She giggles.

"Your what?" Both hands on the pony, Suì-Fēng did her best to push her away from herself, to no avail. Why was she even asking? She didn't know what a 'pinkie sense' was and didn't want to find out.

"Next time-- just know that I'm fine. You don't need to check on me." She glanced at Liv, who had stopped nearby and had started sniffing at someone else's door. Uh-oh. She had to get rid of the horse and go to stop her tiger as soon as possible. "Besides, what makes you think that you could ever help me out if I was in trouble?"

WHATEVER DAY nostray November 27 2011, 13:43:21 UTC
Walking to the store was a commonplace and regular thing for Abarai Renji at this point. Going for some noodles, going for some juice, going to pick up a couple packs of smokes to hand to Elizabeth when Katsura's back was turned. Just a regular everyday thing, done mostly without thinking and without thinking.

This day, however, was not an ordinary or commonplace or regular day. This day, Renji felt the approaching dread of a certain reiatsu he hadn't been particularly closely in the range of for a good while.

Turn around, Abarai Renji. Turn around and go back home and buy this bottle of shampoo later. Katsura's wrath is that of a newborn kitten compared to the consequences you might face if you come into contact with this person.

And so he did. He lifted his leg, turned around-- and turned back again. Kept on walking. ... Hang on a second. Hang on just a minute. No no no, this wasn't what I wanted to do. This was not in the plan. But nevertheless, he kept walking onward, wandering helplessly in a direction he really didn't want ( ... )

She felt him long before seeing him, and decided to completely ignore him. He was going to turn around and take a different path, she was sure. She checked on everyone's reiatsu from time to time (mostly to justify to herself the number of times she checked on Yoruichi's-- see, she checked what everyone was up to, from time to time! It wasn't creepy or anything that she checked on Yoruichi-sama's far more often, it just happened...), and she knew that if there was someone on the ship who wasn't aching to talk to her, that was Abarai Renji.

Not that she could blame him, to be honest. He'd been used and misused during her little photography project, and on top of that she even told his captain he was a useless drunk. So much for gratitude ( ... )

By some miracle of foresight, Renji had the bright idea to raise an arm to his face to save it from any further tiny-fist shaped mutilation. By some unfortunate lack of foresight, however, he didn't think to protect his stomach. Well... to some extent. The arm that went up to keep him safe down there had gone a little lower (never rely on a dangerous woman's mercy) so when they collided they did it with an--

"--Oomph!"

Give him a second. Maybe a second longer. Fist embedded in his stomach, forehead pressed despairingly against his own arm in the vain hope that if he can't see her she won't really be there, Renji hovered like that for a while, almost feeling that glare burning through at him like icy needles of near-certain doom ( ... )

She twisted her fist into his stomach, practically growling at him. Even rationally knowing it wasn't his fault, Suì-Fēng wasn't really the most rational of people around. Sadly for him. All she knew was that he had gone and got stuck to her, and this was inappropriate, uncomfortable, awkward, infuriating, and a whole lot of other adjectives she did not have the patience to think about now that she was so angry.

"What kind of idiot goes out for a stroll with something like this happening?" She realized only after she was done talking that she had just lumped both of them in the same category, "And get close enough to other people that something like this will happen?!" Just for emphasis, her fist dug into his stomach more and more as she spoke, punctuating her words. You know, in case he was getting distracted.

"How are we going to solve this, now?"

It's really lucky that in the course of rooming with Suì-Fēng (at a point in time after acquiring his own pet) that the two hadn't met in any really unfortunate circumstances.

"The two" here being Suì-Fēng's tiger and Japan's snake (who is getting quite a bit bigger with time), not Suì-Fēng and Japan, although they've had their own interesting collisions. Some of them involving bizarre costumes and all of them involving Japan's dodginess. This meeting may prove to be more of the same, especially since he's currently heading to the dolphin pool as well, possibly with some kind of suspicious motive in mind.

Not related to Suì-Fēng, mind you. No, it's just that since he saw Scotland's Loch Ness monster in the pool, he keeps meandering by again, as if hoping to see the creature again. He really wants a good photo, okay? All of the ones he's taken have turned out oddly because he has to turn the flash off. Also, there's a possibility that some of them aren't Nessie at all, but rather stray dolphins or even a buoy or two ( ... )

Somehow, she'd finally got to the pool, and she fully intended on enjoying some alone time there. Liv ran up and down along the shore, chasing reflections in the water that might or might not have been dolphins playing the distance (hard to tell, neither Liv or Suì-Fēng were in a rush to get wet and find out).

She'd counted on the pool to be fairly deserted, and she'd been wrong. She'd been sitting down, knees almost up to her chest and arms around her thighs, when she'd suddenly felt her body begin to shift completely on its own. Standing up only made it worse, with her feet being dragged towards-- oh.Since she'd figured out there was no way to stop this, she let it run its course, more worried about how Japan would react. Was he going to be able to stay calm, or was he going to panic? Neither of them was entirely comfortable with physical contact, she was sure of that, but she was also sure that flailing and moving around would have made it even worse. They had... practically never touched in the past, as far as she could remember ( ... )

Still confused until the last possible moment, it was only once he was inches away from Suì-Fēng and unable to move in the opposite direction that it seemed to dawn on Japan. His expression turned a bit startled and he made a fruitless attempt to move out of the way before they collided (albeit relatively gently, thankfully), which, of course, failed ( ... )

While he looked aside she stared down at his arm stuck between them. Uh. Well. That was awkward. Tugging at it made it worse. She found herself with both hands on his shoulders, in a somewhat rude attempt to push him away, but clearly that wasn't working so well. Mostly because she wasn't sure how much pressure his bones could withstand before cracking, so she wasn't really pushing all that hard. What were nations qualified as? Was she supposed to treat him like a human boy? She really did not want to snap two of his limbs off, uncomfortable as it was to have his arm squirm between their bodies.

"I don't know how either, but this isn't the first time it has happened to me." Which is to say, she was aware it was not his fault. It wasn't hers either. Yet it was up to them to find a solution, wasn't it?

Suì-Fēng tried to move away, managing only to stomp on his foot before being pulled right back to him. Now she was beginning to feel her cheeks tingling too, what with his arm against her body and his breath tickling her forehead. Wow. ( ... )

Whatever day! mightymansopp November 28 2011, 00:15:01 UTC
Usopp was lost. To be fair, this was a fairly common state of affairs these days, for the Thor was just too big for its own good, and he was often left wondering how the entire thing didn't plummet down into some nearby planet, particularly when one took its considerable bulk into account. He did understand the concepts of gravity to some measure, but he couldn't stop the immediate reaction that one day they were all going to die in the fiery remains of a feat of architectural arrogance.

And now he was beside a pool of dolphins which made no sense just like everything else here. Which wasn't so unlike his home, come to think of it, but at least at home he had people to squawk his surprise at. These days, people kept on talking about some mysterious Drive, but as usual, no one had seen fit to explain to him exactly what that was upon his arrival, so he resigned himself to finding it out eventually. Knowing his luck, whatever it was certainly would not bypass it ( ... )

Really, she was trying to take the whole situation in stride, but it bothered her more and more with each minute that went by. It's not like she had any choice, staying holed up in her apartment just was not an option, but after a while she really started to feel like punching a hole through the nearest wall would have made the situation better. Somehow.

When she felt her feet sliding away on their own she quickly stood up-- she'd been crouching to pet Liv's head, but now she promptly raised to her feet to check who she was getting stuck to this time.

A... man she didn't know (probably). That's all she was able to see before colliding, back of her head between his shoulder blades. Suì-Fēng tilted her head up, sounding more or less as happy to be glued to this stranger as she looked. "Who?"

The irritated remark Usopp was about to say promptly died in his throat when it so happened that the short girl currently attached to his backside had a scathing enough voice to provide enough apparent irritation for the both of them. A strain backwards showed that there was a tiger there too. Which was just great, because that was exactly what you wanted in an area with a pool full of what probably acted as oversized fish while currently incapacitated through some sort of mysterious forces.

"What?" He said, bewildered. Who was a bit of an odd question, in his professional opinion. There were better options, like why are you stuck to me? or mwahahaha, look I have stuck you to me with some sort of nefarious plan in mind that I will now describe to you! or maybe oh don't worry this happens all the times, it's a side effect of living on a ship where nothing makes sense and nobody tells you anything.

"U-uh... Usopp," he answered lamely. "What's going on?"

"You don't know?" Oh, great, she had to get stuck to the only clueless idiot of the whole ship. Actually, she'll take that back-- there are so many clueless idiots on the Thor, but that doesn't mean it's any less annoying to be stuck to one of them. Usopp. Not a name she'd ever heard before.

"The drive. Its effect, this month, is to make people repel or attract each other." Why was she even explaining? She didn't care if he understood what was going on or not, she just wanted to get him off of her. Which was probably going to hurt. "Do you have something to bite?" Unsure about what he was or how well he handled pain, she preferred safe to sorry, maybe sticking something in his mouth so that he wouldn't scream and attract attention while she tried to push or kick him away from her would have been wise...

So maybe taking a detour around the dolphin pool wasn't the best idea.

This wasn't one of his usual haunts, but after the craziness of this drive effect so far, he needed something a bit different to clear his head a little. How was he to know Leo wasn't off breaking Keiko's heart by macking on his roommate? Not that he needed a reason to go and punch Leo, but... those voice posts always did seem very innuendo laden to him. Maybe if he didn't look at his guide for the next five years or so, he'd keep out of trouble. Or at least the kind of trouble he didn't like.

Yusuke was deep enough in his own thoughts that he didn't even notice the huge animal at first--not until he was a good ten feet away, anyway. But it wasn't the space tiger that caught his attention-- it was that familiar, yet troubling, energy. He glanced up to pin-point where it was coming from, and was almost relieved that he was behind Suì-Fēng instead. As much as he wanted to test his strength against her, he wasn't about to do it now. Maybe he can just turn around, ( ... )

Admittedly, she hadn't been paying much attention to her surroundings, distracted by how Liv played with the water, trying to catch it and running away from it as soon as it got too close. It was cute, and it reminded her of how playful Yoruichi-sama could get sometimes. How adorable.

On the other hand, had there been a danger she would have known immediately. Her instincts had been sharpened enough through the years that had she felt a hostile energy getting close, distracted or not, she would have focused on it instead.

It was only shortly before they collided that she noticed him. Her serene, amused expression (good thing he hadn't caught that, it would have been embarrassing) quickly turned into a less than impressed one as she felt his body glued to her back. No, she did not like that. Fully aware it was not going to fix anything, and that it was probably going to make things even worse, Suì-Fēng swung her head forward and then back towards his chin. Then she would worry about getting him off of her, first she had to at least ( ... )

Well, this was closer to Suì-Fēng than he had ever wanted to be.

He had barely even registered what had happened, when a sharp, sudden pain shot through his jaw, the blow from her head hitting it's mark straight on target. That definitely caught his attention. A rather loud curse escaped his lips as he tried to stumble back, attempting to cover the injured spot to prevent more damage. It wasn't even that it hurt that much-- he had experienced much more painful things than a headbutt to the jaw. It was the fact that he had been taken off guard, and that his mind was still reeling from...whatever it was that stuck him to her to begin with, that made the pain much more insistent.

"DAMMIT, the HELL was that for?!"

"What do you think?!" She hissed back at him as he unceremoniously dragged her with him when he moved to put as much distance as possible between her head and his chin, without succeeding much. Great. Just great. Suì-Fēng didn't whine out loud, it wasn't her style and besides-- he'd already whined enough for both of them, but that didn't mean she liked this any more than he did. People were watching, and her back was glued to his front, and-- she didn't even want to guess what a random passer-by might have thought seeing them like this.

Shit. What were they supposed to do, now? She couldn't even carry them away from that place-- unless he accepted to climb on her back and let her hold him up. Hah. Never going to happen.
