She's not too surprised when the door opens; checking the room listing is a daily habit of hers especially during the time period where new refugees arrive. You never know whether or not you may find a familiar face, or lose one. On one hand, most people tend to use the guide immediately to contact anyone from their world. While convenient, it really does put a dent on the need for face to face communication. But even with that, Naminé prefers speaking in person, and she's grateful (yet, again, not surprised) that Axel feels the same way. It does make her wonder if he has spoken to any of the others, or if he decided to see her first. It's likely the latter, though, considering that he's not exactly the type to jump in without some sort of warning ( ... )

"How quaint," he says as he steps inside, not wanting to stick to silence. He keeps up a face for now, uncertain as to how this might go down. Axel realizes that perhaps it's unwise to stick to these specific guns around her, but he prefers to go with that before relaxing. It's not his room or space to touch, but he shows his comfort by picking up one of the toys and jingling it in the air. A smirk crosses his lips as he does it, and he tosses it off like it's nothing seconds later. His facial expression said enough ( ... )

There is a whole beat before he contemplates what he's meant to do, and then he angles his chair and sits down, legs stretched out, and arms splayed oddly at his sides. Then again, he's never really known what to do with his hands when he's idle. Axel's used to standing near here, but there's really no need for that-not anymore. It's funny what a simple little act can show. He's still willing to play it cautious, but there are certain things that aren't as necessary between them ( ... )
