[a young man in a kimono wanders in, looking like his mind has continued to wander even after he's come to a stop]

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio simply watches the young man as he takes a seat. He furrows his eyebrows slightly at the lack of attention this young man displays.]

Have you made certain you are in the right place?

[itsnotzura]

[blinks a bit spacily, looking over at being addressed]

Oh... I believe so. I would not be here if it were the wrong place, aa? It wouldn't make much sense to be in the wrong place, even at the right time.

[maestro_ezio]

One does not always ask to be in the wrong place. It would seem that this is not the case with you. Your name?

[lotusrebel]

[Lien's coming in for class and-- HUH. They don't make professors like this anymore. Let's say hi!]

Helllooo?

[maestro_ezio]

[He turns towards the direction of the voice.]

Salute. You must be a student, si?

[lotusrebel]

Er. Si. Right back 'atcha. [She's clever enough to deduce so...]

Are you Italian?

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio nods.]

An Italia of another time than most, I have learned.

[ Notebook under his arm, pen behind his ear-- Leorio's doesn't ACTUALLY enjoy school as much as he just tolerates it, but he doesn't have much of a choice if he really wants to be a qualified doctor in the long run.

But! He's on time! ]

[maestro_ezio]

[The look of this man briefly reminds Ezio of his youth and being in school... not that he ever made things easy for his tutors.

He could assume that he is a student, but assumptions should not be made.]

You are a student?

[drhunter]

[ OH C'MON HE DOESN'T LOOK THAT OLD...!

-- wait no yes he does. ]

Yeah. You're the professor this month...?

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio nods. Just do not call him old...]

So it would seem and not by my choice.

[maestro_ezio]

[The clothing at first catches Ezio off-guard, but only for a moment or so. He has already become accustomed to the strangeness of the ship, not to mention that so many of his time dress even more extravagantly.

He notices the obvious drowsiness with this newcomer, so he goes to his desk. Ezio leans on the desk with one arm and hunches over to be at eye level with him.]

Perhaps you should learn how to stay awake or learn how to sleep better.

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio smirks a little.]

[apathetic_seal]

[For once, Minato's actually managing to stay awake during class, if only the fact that it was a new one and he might actually learn something new and of value.]

[So he's paying attention. Nothing really special going on here, but compared to some of the others nearby, he might as well stand out by being unremarkable.]

[That or the fact he's got a sword at his desk. For whatever reason.]

[maestro_ezio]

[Another that cannot seem to stay awake. He sympathizes somewhat with them, if only because he and Federico were the same.]

Is there a reason why you have a sword with you?

[apathetic_seal]

[...Oh right he had that.]

I've got stuff to do after class. Don't have time to go home and pick it up.

I take it you have some skill in fighting and swordplay then.
