[This is a good idea. This is completely a good idea.
Oh, who is he kidding. This is a terrible idea. He's sure she'd be willing to reschedule their outing to a new planet if he asked, considering this one is... well, creepy and ... he hadn't heard good things about it. Perhaps it was his own stubbornness that lead him to neglect asking her if she wanted to push the outing off until the next planet, though he couldn't ignore the fact that he wanted an excuse to spend time with her alone. And this happened to be the perfect one.
It was a fitting planet, at least, since Halloween was right around the corner.]
Yeah, I am. ...Are you?
[He wouldn't go if she voiced her concerns, though.]
[ she doesn't though. Instead she nods, a smile on her face even though on the inside she's sort of questioning their sanity. It shouldn't be that bad though, right? And if things get a little rough, she could just summon a portal and get them back to the ship, safe and sound.
really, this was completely well planned out. Seriously. ]
[He gives a nod, and gives her a slight smile before looking away and down, as he heads down the ramp of the shuttle.
If a zombie shot out of nowhere, and least it'd grab him first, since he's in front of her.
... Fingers crossed on that not happening, though, because it's not really something he wants to happen. Plus, zombies are always slow and pretty stupid in video games, right?
He steps out onto the planet, his shoe sinking ever so slightly into the marsh-like ground. He glances around a bit, but nothing seems to be charging into their direction, and he takes a few steps forward, and then glances back at her.]
[ she quickly follows him, close enough that she may accidentally brush against him while they walk. It's not that she's scared, but more like nervous that something may go wrong rather quickly.
but there's no point in dwelling on the negative. They could have a lot of fun here, even if it does look like an extremely unsafe place. Very unsafe. So unsafe. ]
... It smells better than that giant convention planet, at least.
[ he grins back at her a bit, trying to lighten the mood. Might as well try to make the best of it while they're here, right? The more he thinks about it, the more it is like a video game -- and Ritsuka really does like video games. Sure, he doesn't have extra lives and there'll be no jumping from great heights with no damage, but it's definitely got the feel. ]
