[It's Germany's day off so he spent most of it in the kitchen, severely and systematically depleting their supply of flour, sugar, eggs, milk...]

[When he hears Italy he briefly extracts himself from the pile of delicious pastries and baked goods that he's produced to poke his head out of the kitchen.]

Welcome home, Italy.

[!!!]

[Germany is cooking!]

[AND IT'S NOT STINKY WURST!!!]

[He's going to (literally) float (how strange...) on over to the kitchen, drooling just a bit from the corner of his mouth (how... how rude!!!)]

Whatcha maaaaaking?

[Since weird floating and drooling is par for the course when Italy is concerned, Germany doesn't even raise an eyebrow. He just goes back to scraping the remains of the coconut frosting out of the saucepan and adding it to the top of the German, naturally chocolate cake he's made.]

Just some cakes and some pastries.

[Nothing special. B(]

Of course. They would go to waste if I didn't.

[Germany keeps an eye on him as he inches closer to the cake, but as no sudden moves are immediately forthcoming, he doesn't try to stop him.]
