She had been working that day. Well, planning, at least. As she mentioned to everyone in her guide post, she wanted to rebuild her shrine. But, of course, actually doing so meant a lot more work than one person could possibly do.

So what was Sanae doing? Scoping out the area. She had been mostly walking around the base of the mountain, and hadn't noticed Marisa going up to rest on it. She was hoping to at least avoid the giant condors, since she wasn't sure whether they were dangerous or not.

Sure enough though, when going back up the hill, Sanae noticed a very familiar hat... "Marisa?"

She walked right up, and saw Marisa... sling and all. Welp, she had thought SOMETHING was wrong when they first talked over the guide, but this was something different. So, Sanae being Sanae, it was time to stick her nose into some business.

"Marisa, what happened?"

The witch, having been dealing with her shoulder all month, didn't even realize that was what Sanae was referring to when the quiet of the day was broken with the question.

"Other than the Drive turning just about everyone into children and people being wormholed off... Nothing." She leaned back against a tree and pulled the brim of her hat down to partially cover her eyes like she was trying to sleep.

"Just getting away from it all, ze. No biggie."

She had never heard of the Drive before now, but questions about that could wait. What she really wanted to know was what happened to Marisa's arm.

"But... your arm's in a sling. Did you get into a fight with someone?" As if anyone could actually hurt one of them here... if Sanae's hunch was correct, they still had danmaku power aboard the ship. But of course, using it would be too dangerous.

"...Does stuff like this happen often? With this 'Drive', I mean."

"I fought Yuuka at the end of last month. She almost ripped my arm off," Marisa said dully. She then pushed her hat up enough to make eye contact with the miko. "Don't be stupid enough to think you even have a chance at handling her. We're not bound by danmaku rules here."

And down went her hat, the witch scootching to make herself more comfortable. "Every time the Drive is activated something happens. Some are entertaining. This is just tedious and irritating."
