So anyways, he's Lloyd. And this is a story all about how his life got flipped turned upside down, if you'd like to take a moment just sit right there, I'll tell you how he ended up on the ground under some dogs and a girl with pretty blond hair.

Jk jk, but really he had been just walking down the hall, thinking about grabbing some lunch because he is starving and hasn't eaten all day, when he's suddenly plowed into by a dozen dogs on leashes. Normally one might expect to notice a horde of animals racing at you with the speed of a rushing train, but Lloyd is just really hungry and not paying attention -- suddenly, leashes! Dogs! Paws!]

[Her boss had told her it would be easy to walk the twelve dogs. Just hold onto the leashes and keep them taunt. But within five minutes of picking up the twelfth dog, they took off as a group. She'd tried at first to stop them, but she wasn't strong enough or heavy enough to even slow them down. Flapping along like a kite, she trailed after the dogs.

Until they ran into someone.]

Aaaahhh aaaahhhh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

[WHUMP]

[And she lands on top, in a tangle of leashes, paws, and limbs.]

On no, oh no, oh no! I'm so sorry!

[ That's -- a familiar voice. He's too crushed by pooches and too entangled to struggle his way out, but he can talk! ]

A-ah? Lloyd? Is that you?

[Naomi wasn't much of a pet person, but she had to get away from the ship at some point. After everything... and what she told Dr. Sartre made things a little strange between them. Alice would avoid her for a few days due to the scent of dog, but that mi--]

[She paused and watched as a dog ran in front of her, a long leash trailing behind it. Well then...]

[Shiemi panted hard as she chased after the dog. He was the last dog she had left to return to his owner, but he'd gotten away! The dog was so much faster than her though, that there were times she was afraid she would lose sight of him. Turning a corner, she spots him, still running.]

Txakurra! Come back, Txakurra!

[Txakurra? Oh... was she one of the dog walkers this month? Naomi watched the girl run by, chasing after the dog in a panic.]

[... Naomi knew she wasn't good with dogs, but she could help out this once. She turned and gave chase after the girl and dog.]

[the dog paused just long enough to glance over his shoulder and dog!laugh at them both, before going back to running]

Txakurraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

[and then, Shiemi trips, falling flat on her face]

Coincidentally, Norway was also taking his own puppy on a walk, though he never bothered with leashes and let Rikke to roam wherever she pleased. And this may have been a good idea considering he was accosted by a dozen or so other dogs as soon as they turned the corner, all of them barking excessively while twisting and tangling their leashes around his legs.]

Oi-

Meanwhile Rikke was sitting a few feet away, head tilted as she watched the disaster unfold.]

[Holding is all Shiemi can do as the dogs tear down the corridor. And then they round a corner and someone is already in the space the dogs want to run into.]

Look ou--!!!

Ouch...

[It's hard for anyone to be pleased to have a dozen or so dogs and a girl all over them, and Norway is part of the majority as he struggles to untangle himself from this mess.]

[Shiemi fights with the leashes, trying to pull the dogs off the stranger]

I... um, no? They just took off! I'm so sorry!

[Whatever had Chen been doing?

...well, it wasn't terribly important right now.

Right now SUDDENLY DOGS.

Now, Chen was okay with dogs! Surprisingly, given that she's a nekomata and all. She is a weird cat that way.

What she is not okay with is them being all up in her face all of a sudden with like THIS MUCH warning.

So now she's squalling.]

NYA!

[And squirming and trying her best to wiggle and flail and scratch and jump her way out.]

[By this point, Shiemi has decided that this was a very bad job to take. But the day isn't over yet, let alone the month.]

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh--

[and then the dogs were all in a pile and it sounded like there was... a cat?]

Oh no! Bad dogs! Bad dogs! Leave that cat alone!

[Eventually, a little scrap of black fur eels free of the mass of canines, tails bottlebrushing out. Chen had shifted to her smaller cat form to make an easier escape--though this was of highly questionably wisdom, seeing as it made being crushed a very real possibility.

But, Chen had made it out with little more than...a lot of dog slobber.

...though there are a few things wrong with this cat, as it stands (besides the dog slobber). One, that it apparently has two, white tipped tails.

And second, that it was floating in midair.]

[For a moment, Shiemi thinks the cat is Kuro, but the markings are wrong as Kuro doesn't have white tips on his tails. And Kuro doesn't float, as far as Shiemi knows.]

[A floating cat cows a few of the dogs, allowing Shiemi a chance to straighten their leashes as she stares at the cat.]

Are... are you all right?
