What: Just arriving to the Thor!
When: Today, September 18th! Early morning.
Where: Around the New Arrivals office.
Why: 'Cause Newcomers gotta mingle while panicking, amirite? And veterans need to show them the way!
Rated: PG-13? I'd assume possible cursing and such.

[ Oh my gosh, who is this little girl who's tugging on your shirt, Rin? She does look rather cute, don't you think? Sickeningly cute even. ]

Miss? You look a little lost. Can I maybe help you?

[ She looked at the taller female a little closer. She was gorgeous! Some reason she felt like she's seen this girl before, like in her own thoughts of a description. ]

[sequests]

[ She's surprised at first, because she didn't even notice the girl approach her -- definitely not a good sign. She turns her head slightly toward the girl, her eyes digging into her --

...Until she notices all the pink. Too much of a headache -- avert, avert. So her eyes dart to the side, focusing on a spot on the floor again. It was a trick she learned to help keep herself grounded, and it worked ...most of the time.]

I'm fine.

[ Her words are a little rough, between the strain of saying them through her aches and her general annoyance. Though luckily it's mostly the former -- and the annoyance isn't even at the girl -- but at the entire situation.]

[She tries to straighten herself up, wincing a bit while she does.]

I'm not lost. I'm --

I shouldn't be here. I don't know where here is.

[ Unfortunately for her, Miwako's hand hasn't left the hem of her shirt yet, so she's still somewhat attached. Oh gosh.. she doesn't look too good at all! This worries her. ]

You're in space, Miss! A spaceship called the Thor! They pick up people all over the place and let them live here.

[sequests]

[she moves a bit, trying to part herself from the girl, not liking the closeness]

I'm really supposed to believe that crap?

[another sharp pain in her stomach. shit.]

{Tohru couldn't sleep. Ever since Shigure had gone home, she had been plagued with dreams about the Sohmas. Where were they? Were they okay? Were they eating? Were they - smiling and happy? Each time those thoughts filled her mind, she would get up, put on her shoes and go for a long walk.

Today, her walk led her to the New Arrival's Office. Actually, it led her to the hallway leading to the New Arrival's Office.}

... {When she sees Rin, she gapes. Is this a mirage? Is she making this up?} R-Rin-san? Is that -

When did you get here? {She rushes to the girl's side, expression concerned.} I didn't know you had arrived!

[sequests]

[ Rin turns her attention to -- a voice, a voice that's saying her name -- a familiar voice. And for a second, she almost thinks she's hearing things. But then Tohru is at her side, wearing -- wearing that look she always does when Rin is sick. That one concerned worried scared expression, that tightens her stomach.

But despite that she's -- happy, so happy, that Tohru is okay. She's here. She's fine.

Rin leans against the wall once more, needing it for most of her support. Perhaps relief struck her so hard that it took away a bit of her driving force.]

You're okay.

[she pauses, and then continues]

I... just got here. Wherever 'here' is.

[very_grateful]

...Rin-san? {Tohru blinks and looks confused.} Why wouldn't I be okay? Nothing has happened to me.

{Except for her external wounds when she arrived. But that's in the past. Tohru doesn't dwell on those things. Outwardly, at least.}

You're on the Thor! It's a space ship.

[sequests]

[Why wouldn't I be okay, she asks. Ignoring that part, since she doesn't feel like elaborating on it, she frowns, and her eyebrows press together in frustration.]

Seriously?

[forgoodromance]

[ Rachel makes rounds at least once a week to set up posters that advertise the upcoming Glee club. Apparently people in space are dicks too so the posters tend to get taken down or vandalized, so the girl makes an active effort to replace any missing or damaged ones.

it's when she's on one of these adventures that she spots Rin, and it doesn't take too long to realize she's a new arrival. Looking around to see if anyone else was going to talk to her, Rachel walks over. ]

Hello?

[sequests]

[she turns her head slightly, gaze switching from the long winding hallway to the person who had addressed her. Her hand rests on the wall, keeping her up, and she stares a little bit before speaking.]

... What?

[forgoodromance]

[ sadly, Rachel is used to people addressing her like that so the tone doesn't even phase her. Instead, she just shifts the weight of her fliers before smiling. ]

You're new here, right?

[sequests]

[ She glances down at the fliers before glancing back up at Rachel. ]

Yeah. What about it?

[placid]

[Unsurprisingly, Hatsuharu was lost.

Of course he is too stubborn to ask anyone for directions. This place seemed familiar, therefore it was enough for him to think he was on the right track.

He wasn't.

But he kept going anyway.

Up ahead it appeared there was a damsel in distress. Sometimes it was good to be able to be lost in thought, and still be observant when it comes to more important matters at the same time.

He approached her, wanting to help, especially since from where he is, she looked just like someone from his world. He had his doubts, however, that it would be her. But hey, if he can make someone's day, that would be nice.]

Hey, you okay?

[sequests]

[ That voice.

At first she really did think she was hallucinating, because out of everything, she wanted to see him. He'd make this okay -- it'd be a good dream instead of a crappy one with dumb aliens.

Was her mind playing tricks? Was this really a dream? Her throat tightened.

But she had to look. If it turned out to be some random guy, she'd just run away.

So, slowly, she turned, stubbornly so, because her legs didn't totally want to cooperate. And seeing him -- she wanted to cry. ]

... Haru.

[He froze.

Hatsuharu was sure that just now, his heart stopped... or skipped a beat. Something like that.]

Is that...

[Could it really be?!]

[placid]

[It really was her.

There was no mistaking it.

She's finally here. He felt somewhat guilty, feeling so happy, so relieved to have her here. He's told himself on several occasions that her being here wouldn't be good for her, because of the work, the manual labor.

But he couldn't even care about any of that. She's here now, which means everything is okay. He'll be okay.

Part of him wanted to cry, but he is just too stubborn.

He gets on his knees, lowers his head.]

It's really you. Rin, you're here.
