Killua had opted to stay back this time, to give Gon a chance to say anything he felt he needed to the blond without worrying about anyone else hearing, not that he really expected Gon to take that opportunity. It was there if he wanted it. Besides, someone had to make sure Leorio hid all of his NC-17 reading material. Oh, yeah, and prepare a celebration. That too.

"Hey, Leorio!" he called, peeking around for the elusive man. "I have leftover chocolate. What have you got?"

And Leorio sticks his head out from around the kitchen wall, tosses a few cone-shaped party hats into the room and snaps off a cheeky salute. "I've got a couple hats. And some whiskey."

Hey, every celebration needs some alcohol. But since Gon and Killua are both still underage (not that it matters to him) and he has no clue how old Kurapica is, he shrugs and waves a hand towards the fridge. "And a few of Miss Keiko's cheesecakes."

Gon, meanwhile, has just escorted Kurapica off the elevator (which bid them a fond farewell and wished them a pleasant day).

"5-3's this way!" He was so full of happy anticipation for their reunion he was almost vibrating with repressed energy. It was hard not to break into a run and sprint down the hall full-tilt, but he managed to maintain a brisk but restrained walk somehow.

Kurapica turned his attention back to Gon when he mentioned the room number, but by then Gon's legs were moving a little faster than before. "Ah, wait up, Gon," he called lightly after him, and Kurapica jogged to close the distance and keep up.
