Who: Vic and YOU! What: Vic's busy making a fake Oscar cause he's just super nice like that When: Today! Where: The Hangar Warnings: Spray paint fumes and possible robot shenanigans
Naminé has been to many places on the ship, but one of the areas she has stayed clear of is the hanger. Not on purpose, but there just hadn't been a real reason for her to go there.
But, after over a year on the ship, her curiosity finally got the better of her. So the Nobody is wandering down the various ships and Gundams, peering at them all.
Vic's very absorbed in his work, twisting the metal this way and that, trying to get the exact proportions and the right shape of the Oscar. The music from his DJ-style headphones is very loud, but only because he doesn't have them on over his ears.
He hears footsteps from a distance. Vic stands up, setting the spray paint and what's been made of the Oscar so far on the nearest table. He follows the sound until he finds a petite blond girl, looking around and criss-crossing between the (way cool and awesomely real) Gundams.
So cool, in fact, that she doesn't even notice Victor approaching until after he calls out to her. She looks startled for a few seconds, but that quickly goes away and is replaced with a smile.
"Not really. I've just never been here before."
It's not really a good reason to be wandering around, but at least it's the truth.
"Not a lot of people come around unless they have a ship or need something repaired." He looks around, hands in his back pockets and admiring the giant Gundams and spaceships. "But you get to see some pretty cool stuff here."
He looks back down at her. "I can show you around, if you like. I hang out here probably way too much."
His hairs stood on end when he heard the very serious Wolf. He hadn't noticed him because he was pretty busy with this.
Vic sort of feels like he's been caught throwing rocks at the rest of the kids on the playground in hiding. "Uh. Gift for a friend. I promised her I'd make her something so I am."
"In my world there are movie awards and they give them out to actors and actresses who did the best job that year. I mean it's a huge deal in Hollywood and it gives 'em a good reputation if they win one of these statues. I jokingly told my friend she'd win this award for her skills so... yeah."
Now that he said it out loud, he felt he sounded kinda silly. It really doesn't help that he told it to pretty much his boss.
M'gann often visited the hangar since her arrival on the ship. Her bio-ship had been docked there from day one, and even though she hadn't gotten the chance to fly it since she was on Earth (oh, the irony of that), she still wanted to make sure it was still safe and sound. Besides, who knew when she'd need it again? She'd much rather be prepared than not-she'd learned her lesson on that before.
She'd grown used to all the sounds of the different vehicles and machines that were stationed there, but there was something about this particular metallic sound that didn't exactly sound like a ship. Curiosity got the better of her as she flew over to the source of the noise.
Vic was sitting cross-legged on the floor, scraps of metal strewn around him. He kept reshaping and reshaping the metal, frowning with the fact that it's not exactly right. He's got a photographic memory, but trying to reproduce what he remembered was proving way harder than he thought at first.
The bass from his headphones around his neck boomed in a pattern that made him bob his head in time with the music.
... Well, that was certainly interesting, to say the least! She touched down a short distance away from Victor, making her way over to her friend on foot. She figured it'd be a little more polite than just swooping down on him. With a quick wave, the Martian attempted to get his attention as she approached him.
"Hey, Victor!" she tried calling out out, hoping she was loud enough for him to hear. She didn't want to have to resort to telepathy; she'd already been reprimanded enough to know most people didn't enjoy someone else being in their mind.
The hangar was always one of Wheatley's favorite hang-out spots. So wide, so open, so full of large, metal-y things! He's rather smallish himself, so it's easy for him to go unnoticed among all the large ships and other impressive things stored within the Thor's hangar. It also didn't help that he was almost perpetually attached to the ceiling, moving along on conveniently placed rails.
Though he had to admit, it was a fine spot for observing those coming and going.
He spotted someone doing something below him; he wasn't quite sure what, but it did manage to spark his curiosity. Might as well greet the fellow first, though.
Vic heard someone say hello, but when he looked around he didn't see anyone. He's really not one to imagine things. He glanced down the hallways, up and down the ships, back to the --- wait. He looked back up to see a smallish sort-of camera looking thing hanging on a railing. "Hey there," he waved at it.
"I'm making an Oscar for a friend," he told it. "It's an award from my world." Vic stood up and held the statue out for the orb to see. "Still gotta spray paint it before it's done."

"Sorry, don't mean to interrupt whatever it is you're doing. It's just... well, what is it that you're doing?"
