[Namine wasn't going to be there for quite a while, but he needed time to explain]
[already he was running over in his head how best to word things (awkward, clumsy things, he doesn't trust them anymore), how to give the shortest explanations without putting Namine in any sort of danger or discomfort]
[he opened the door, eyes not quite looking as worried as Lenalee's did after a week of torturing herself, but certainly growing weary]
Hey.
[he ushers her into the mess. it's... liveable, but cluttered, a true sign of only a guy living by himself for weeks with few visitors: take-out cartons and empty(ish) pizza boxes and juice and water bottles every few feet]
[immediately, he tugs at empty cabinets]
I think I have... coffee here somewhere, if you want. No cream or sugar, but...
[he'd taken to liking it, the mind-buzz-mind-calm of caffeine, due to her influence]
[he was trying to find her comfort zone in this whole circumstance]

[it's low, despite seeming like a new container]
[he flips the pot on with mechanical movements, pouring water in]
...Did you eat already? I can order something.
[he's not trying to stall for time, really]
