Who: Lenalee and anyone who wants to visit her, or maybe someone else got chucked in jail too
What: After attacking some Vogon big wig in her Perfum induced state, Lenalee gets chucked in jail for the rest of the week.
When: Between the 20th and the 24th
Where: Thor Jail
Warnings: lol probably not

( Eight counts of aggravated assault, fifteen counts of destruction of public property, and twenty-three counts of disturbing the peace. )

Komui had become frantic when Lenalee stopped answering to his Guide messages. It didn't take him long to track things down to the police station on board Thor. Attacked a Vogon? Impossible! Lenalee would never attack someone innocent! It had to be a lie. Someone was trying to frame her no doubt.

As soon as he learned she'd been captured, Komui had stormed out of his labs and made straight beeline towards the station.

"LENALEEEEEE. LENALEEEEEEEE!" his wails came as he entered the police station, startling most people there since his screams sounded almost like someone was murdering him.

"But Lenalee! This is a cell. A cage!" He didn't really care he was spouting the obvious. All he wanted to get across was that she did not BELONG inside there. Not for what might have been a mere accident.

"I hurt people." Her voice was barely audible. "Even with all the strange things that happen around here, I believed what my eyes told me. I didn't want to consider that something could create fake Akuma."

He couldn't say that didn't matter. To her it did and it was right as a human to feel regret for whatever wrong you committed. That didn't mean he didn't want her out of there as soon as possible. He'd pay the victims hospital fee or other such things just to let his sister out sooner from her cage.

"It was an accident...Yes you hurt people but you did not do it intentionally." He knew he was losing ground on this topic and fast.

"Accidents aren't acceptable," Lenalee murmured, repeating a line she'd had drilled into her brain from the age of six. "The price of a mistake is someone's life. I could have killed someone. It was negligent and irresponsible."

She looked up at him and tried to smile. Tried. But it was more of a lip twitch than anything else. "It's five days, Brother. It is a small price."

Komui bit his lip sharply, the powerlessness crushing down around him like a vice. He wanted to be in there, to hold her to reassure her that things would be better. But the damned forcefield and bars were in the way.

"I..." he felt sick just agreeing to the state of things. But he had to. It's what Lenalee had decided. "...I understand." He managed to say with a defeated tone. "Is there anything I could bring you? A book or something?" he asked worriedly. Surely a book would be fine to give her. Just something to speed up the passage of time.

She tried to smile. She tried so hard to smile. But it wouldn't reach her eyes.

"A book would be wonderful, Brother. I was in the middle of reading one. It's on my bedside table."

I'll bring it to you today. You can count on that. Anything else?" Komui looked ready to bring her even an elephant if she so desired. All she had to do was say the words and he would make it so.

Lenalee shook her head.

"Just the book," she replied. She knew her brother would move heaven and earth for her, but she rarely felt the need to ask for such things. Just the little things would do.

"Alright then." Komui tried his best to smile for her. Oh how he wanted to just hold her hand and tell her it would be okay. To offer what little support he could. "I'll bring the book today but I will also come visit you every day until you're released and that is one thing I won't compromise on."

That manages to get the smile to finally reach her eyes. It's faint, but it's there.

And that makes it possible for him to smile back in return. "It's going to be okay..." he said, his smile softening. He didn't want to leave her not there, not on her own. "They took your Guide didn't they?" He had tried to call her up before learning she had been arrested.

"Yes, they confiscated it as evidence."

Which... is was. But it was also part of her sentencing. Lenalee wasn't all that torn up over losing possession of her Guide, if only temporarily, mostly because she'd feel like she wouldn't be able to get away from everything if her Guide was there.

"I thought so. You were not responding to my calls the day you were arrested."

Well that was no good. Now he was considering slipping in some kind of communicator in with the book and his face betrayed that intent quite clearly.

She knew her brother well, his moods and his expressions. So she shook her head, just a little.

"I'm sure they'll give it back when I'm released," she told him gently. "And... it will be a little nice... not having to face anyone just yet."

Komui had to frown at her words. Was she really thinking all of her friends would blame her?

"If they are your friends, they would not think more ill of you for this" Komui said with determination.
