This particular 'woman of mystery' was doing something that seemed rather mundane on the surface - she was sitting at an outdoor cafe, drinking tea while bent over several notes on paper.

Idly she pulled at a lock of blonde hair, reading over her memoranda again and making sure that everything was in order. Knowing that both Holmes and Sherlock were suspicious of her, it was time to make her move at once. The timing was certainly right - she'd been provided with two very agreeable men, and she wouldn't have to lift a finger to recover all her things from the pirates.

Slipping the notes into her pocket she leaned back in the chair and sipped her tea. This was the calm before the storm - some time before she met with her gentlemen again to give them their information.

Mundane, yes, but things were so rarely what they seemed, in Xigbar's world. Shadows could kill, and bodies lived on after death. You learned not to assume pretty quick, in a world like that.

Not that any of this was visible in his expression, of course. This was just luck. A meeting of chance, or so he'd intended for it to seem, and the fact that it was at a cafe made it all the easier to arrange for such things. Was this how Luxord felt most of the time, he wondered idly. It would certainly explain his confidence.

A moment later - and now with his own drink in hand - he made his way over to the table she was sitting at.

"You mind if I sit here?"

Oh, was this not the most interesting day ever. What was he doing here?

She glanced around, noting that Mister Xigbar could have sat somewhere else. But all the same she nodded unsmilingly and gestured to the seat beside her.

"If you like."

The lack of smile was noted, but put out of mind until such time that he either needed the evidence or it proved to be unnecessary. There was no doubt that he had the right person, yes. But that wasn't the end of the mystery.

"I've never been fond of of sitting alone," he answered with an easy shrug. It was mostly not a lie. He was perfectly content to sit and watch people, sure. But you got so much more from getting in up close. People had all those wonderful little lies that they couldn't quite hide and everyone knew what they said about eyes.

"You don't mind, right?"

"No, it's fine." What she did mind was him being there in the first place. Under his gaze she was suddenly wishing that she'd taken even further measures to disguise herself, but at the start it had not seemed necessary.
Well, it had to hold out for just a bit longer.

With a bland look she took another sip of tea. "I'm not very good company, but you won't be alone."
