Who: chicknisfinetoo, lunarianpsycho, and allmyanswers What: teatime teatime it's awwwwwwright When: A day after this Where: Kaguya and Reisen's manor in New Gensokyo Warnings: ...none?
Having no means of discerning exactly how it had occurred, Japan could not spend too much time wondering how exactly he and his guide had made the transition between everything outside the bamboo to what lay within. That did not mean that his curiosity was not piqued by the experience. However, he didn't feel it would be appropriate to ask, so he merely kept pace with Reisen and remained silent.
What he did make a note to inquire about, at some point, was the presence of this elaborate manor and its surroundings. Having heard of several other structures like it, he found himself wanting to know more about this place and others which seemed so uniquely adapted to their inhabitants aboard the ship.
As Reisen guessed, her companion did not need a reminder about removing his shoes, which he did as soon as he stepped into the entrance of the manor. He was attired traditionally, though wearing a kimono more formal than his everyday attire. He waited, silently, beside Reisen.
Kaguya had been quite curious about this Japan individual Reisen had mentioned. She said he was basically Nihon but in a human form. Difficult to believe really... but then, she had been on the S.S. Thor long enough to find very few things about these people surprising. Perhaps living in Gensokyo had made most other things dull? Who knew. Either way, she did not expect anything spectacular from this man.
But, Reisen had taken an interest in him. She was a curious little rabbit, yet she seemed selective of others at times. If she felt that her princess would enjoy meeting him, then who knows... Besides, if Reisen spoke truly about this one admiring the Moon Princess... then, how could she possibly say no~?
"Come in, Reisen." Her voice calling from the main hall.
There she was. Reisen waved at Japan with a smile, asking him to follow her. She would have to get some things prepared but that could wait until everyone was comfortable. Tea, a couple small snacks, and maybe a little of something else. The questions were already running through her head.
When the entered the room, Reisen motioned to Japan and back.
"Princess Kaguya, this is Japan. Japan, Princess Kaguya."
There was definitely a certain etiquette that a normal person would follow when meeting a princess, and as a representation of his people, Japan followed this etiquette to the letter. When introduced to Kaguya, he bowed deeply and remained that way for a long moment before righting himself.
