Yosuke was taking his time walking around after work. He had just bribed one of the beach attendants he knew from his time as a lifeguard to let him in the pool showers. It had been two days and he'd been a little desperate. He used to bs a two shower a day kind of guy. Now there was nothing for him to do until it was late enough to grab a quiet bench in the gardens for a nap without getting any strange looks from passerby.

He sighed, kicked an imaginary rock (spaceships just didn't have any real rocks in the walkways to kick,) and lazily did an about-face in the other direction, seeing as he had no direction anyway. He was startled to find his path blocked with pink haired hottie.

"Oh! Sakura-chan...uh, hi."

Sakura found herself looking at a familiar face -- person -- who looked like hell. "Yosuke-kun," she said politely, looking visible concerned. "What exactly have you gotten yourself into now?"

She sighed, coming over and gesturing for him to step closer. "Nice to see you again."

He cracked a smile at the joke, though he couldn't argue with Sakura's assessment. There were some still healing scrapes and bruises on his face and knuckles from his adventures with invisibility, and he hadn't been getting enough sleep. He might have actually been to see Sakura sooner after becoming visible and realizing that a healing might be nice, the better part of the damage was on his stomach and ribs. He didn't want to show her.

He scratched lightly at the annoying rash that was starting to come back in spite of the cream Dr. Wesker had given him for it, and stepped over to talk to Sakura.

"It's a really long story, I don't think you would want to hear it."

"Long stories are what I live for." It was an exaggeration, if the reality behind it was she did want to hear what people were willing to share. However much that would be.

Sakura followed his scratching, brow furrowing. "What's that about?" she asked, motioning to where he'd been itching. "Don't tell me you've stumbled into the poison ivy while failing to get away from whatever did this to you."

Yosuke dropped his hand to his side quickly, not wanting to show her the rash, either. It had gone from being a little flushed and itchy to being kind of bumpy and really itchy. He'd been meaning to go back and ask the school nurse about it, but he hadn't wanted the guy to make fun of him for all the new bruises he'd acquired since his last visit.

"It's definitely not poison ivy, don't worry." And he might have left it at that any other day, but this time he was hoping Sakura might hang around for a bit. He was kind of lonely. Even if he didn't always get along with his roommates, he was used to having them around. Besides, he'd made himself a promise about something.

"Why don't we sit down? I can tell you the whole story."

Minus the parts where he snuck in to people's rooms, maybe. There's a difference between boredom and desperation, and saying something that would convince her to add a few bruises of her own to his skin would definitely be crossing that line.
