[Yuri wasn't a big fan of formal gardens, but in the sterility of the ship, he'd take what he could get. He went there fairly often, so it was easy to spot someone new.
His first reaction upon seeing her was to smile. A princess immersed in books - that sure sounded familiar.
As was what he did next - he walked over, leaned over her from behind the bench, and reached for the book, grinning the whole time.]
[Giselle loved the gardens. They were calming, peaceful as it were and it reminded her of back home, a place she missed dearly. She wondered through the gardens, taking in the many different types of plants that had found themselves in this beautiful place as she spotted someone.
[It had been a while since he had took his five rappigs out for a walk but today was the exception! His rappig walker was MIA, and thus this was the perfect excuse for, as he decided, one of those special bonding walks.]
[With a firm grip on the leashes, he set out and eventually entered the gardens. When he came upon Zelda, a sense of deja vu overtook him - seeing as that he had met another blond, Renge in a similar fashion - and he knew enough about people and their body languages to read there was something possibly on the lady's mind. Of course, not even he could be sure what it was; but nothing stopping him from checking if it was something he could help with, right? He invited himself over.]
Is there some form of knowledge you're looking for with those? [He says as he points to the pile of read books.]
[Thoughtful hum.] Maybe I can help? I've been here a while... and when you think about it one of the functions of the Guide allows you to speak with people-- so it's almost a step toward adjusting, if you want to talk.
[Now a laugh.] Guess I should introduce myself: you can call me Peony.
[Fenris hardly spent all that much time in his room; in all honesty, it made him feel uncomfortable. It wasn't a matter of having irritating roommates (he hadn't spoken with them much, but he held no issue with them), but rather of having roommates at all. He was not a social elf by nature, and he was still far too used to living in an abandoned mansion back in Kirkwall as opposed to a small, cramped, crowded, and shared living space.
So he often found himself milling about the ship, even if it was without a particular cause. The garden area of the Thor was comforting to him, if only because it was the only part that seemed less alien. Just slightly.
Strolling nearby, Fenris spotted a familiar face immersed in a book. An impressive stack of even more sat near her.]
[He attempted to greet her, if somewhat awkwardly, after debating if he should bother saying anything at all.]
Very well. [He remembered her telling him that the first time they spoke, but it felt odd saying her name knowing her title. Ironic that he should care so much about titles given his previous status as a slave. Or perhaps fitting, instead.
Either way, he respects her request.] Zelda. Have you settled in well since last we spoke?
[did someone say "plenty of books"? there's no way Twilight can pass up such a sight without it catching her interest. unfortunately, though, she'd only heard Zelda's voice before, so she has no idea who the other girl is. as tempted as she is to say something, she knows how frustrating it could be when people interrupted a reading session, so for now, she's just observing.]

[ She paused. ] ... I just find more comfort in paper. I know it's counter-productive to adjusting.
