[It was nice to come to the park after working so long. Gave her the chance to shake out her fur and trot around for as long as she wanted. None of the aliens disturbed her especially at night.]

[...? What was that? Time to investigate the small spotted ball of fur.]

He needs all the help he can get

[He'd be happier to see Amaterasu if he wasn't a tiny cat and she wasn't a huge wolf. Didn't dogs not like cats?

His kitty ears go flat against his head and he meows again. Seto doesn't know what's going on, but he wants to keep his locket safe.]

XD Yup

[She blinks, but then sniffs the little cub and the locket. Locket smells familiar; can't say too much about the kitty. Seems a little lost. She woofs a 'Hello'.]

[Seto presses himself close to the ground when she sniffs him. He's not food okay.

Wait. He tries to communicate back with her.

[If you listen, there's suddenly a familiar voice coming in your direction, apparently grumbling to himself about something.]

Geez, this is so annoying... [He stops though once he comes into view and notices the strange cat, frowning a bit.] ...Okay, who keeps leaving cats all over the place? Seriously...

[You now have a Crow coming towards you Seto, although he apparently hasn't noticed the locket with you yet. What do?]

Aww thanks. I can't get over how that cat sounds.

[Oh look it's Crow!

Seto perks up as soon as his bff comes into view, but makes no attempt to move off the locket. He doesn't think Crow's going to recognize it's him like this though. Once he gets closer, he starts meowing.]

[...Huh. That's the weirdest meow he's ever heard come from a cat. Once he reaches it, he kneels slightly so that he can get a better look at the cat.] Hmph. First that white cat and now this one...

[After a moment or two he's going to reach out to give the cat a slight poke]

[Why would you do that?

He makes a kind of protesting half meow sound and inches away from his finger. Seto kitty still lays over most of the locket.]

[Xion is just passing through the park when the little animal catches her attention. never one to pass up an encounter with an adorable creature, she makes her way over. that's when she notices the locket. she'd know it anywhere; Seto's one of her best friends on the ship, after all. curiously, she crouches down, head tilted.]

Where'd you get this from...?

[He would explain "oh I got it from my grandpa" but you know.

Instead, he meows and presses his face against the locket. It's mine!]

[unfortunately, Xion is not a cat whisperer. (if she was, that would be SO AWESOME.) so she just takes that as a sign that he is just playing with it because he's a cat. because cats do things like that.]

Oh-do you like things like that?

[Yes. Yes he does like things like this. In fact, this is the thing he likes most in the world. Have another laser meow, Xion.]

[Dear Seto!lot, it seems that, despite your hour-long stay here, you have somehow failed to see Shiro--

two bushes, three trees and many leafs to your left.

Now this might either be the aforementioned lack of smarts showing themselves in all their glory or just Shiro's talent at being a ninja getting the better of you.

Your choice, that.

Also-- Shiro is fast asleep which...is not really a surprise anymore.]

[Seto finally decides to look around once people leave him alone. Maybe his laser noises scared them off.

He spots Shiro a little bit away now. It's probably safer to be near him. Cue Seto now getting up and trying to nudge the locket with his face across the park.

It may not have been the best way to move it, but it works. Instead of trying to wake him, he curls up over the locket beside Shiro's leg.]

[The noises must have scared them off. Considering the insane that is the Thor they could have meant all kind of things-- 'If you hear hoof beats, think horses-not zebras' certainly doesn't work here after all.

Seto!lot, we're all for you being a cute, trusting ball of furr and getting closer. Sadly, Shiro is still chasing the Z's.

[Cat instincts seem to come out after laying there for awhile and when Seto sees a leaf move, he thinks it might be an animal or something. He meows at the movement.

Oh wait, nope. It's just a leaf.]

[The park was a good place for keeping to oneself, and possibly clearing one's head.

At least, that's what Kaoru hoped with his trips to the park every now and then.

It was just really frustrating with the constant homesickness, feeling a lot more crushed than he thought previously. He just didn't want to be so lame around other people, and always tried his best not to be.

He also didn't want to bring Hikaru down with him.

Of course, the only other option was to bottle everything up. Sure, he knew that wasn't the healthiest choice, but it was what he knew best.

Right now, being here in this park, it was a good opportunity to sit on a bench somewhere and get lost in a book.]

[Seto immediately spots Kaoru. Now he definitely wants to leave this spot. It's someone he knows! Someone that considers him family.

Good thing he's not too far away from him. Seto takes the necklace part the locket in his teeth and drags it over. He's not leaving it alone. When he finally gets closer, he meows to get Kaoru's attention.]
