[Minato had passed by the cafe a little past noon and had noticed her there, thinking little of it at the time. But now, later in the afternoon, she was... still there? Hm. He was no stranger to sleeping at a table, but for this long? Something must be up.]

[So he'll just some over and give a tap on the girl's shoulder.]

Hey... You okay, there?

[Welp. There's only one thing to do at a time like this.]

[He puts his headphones on her ears, turns up the volume, and then plays... this.]

[Because obviously that is a good thing to do to a sleeping person.]

On his way to the party restaurant, Shuuichi finds Lien taking her nap on the table. Curious and kinda worried, he puts a hand on her shoulder. "Lien...?"

A grumble was emitted from her and the only other response was a shift in position. Lien continued to sleep, unaware of Shuuichi's presence. It was a dreamless slumber with no particular purpose.

He stared at her, wondering if waking her up or not. She definitely was tired, but at the same time, any alien could growl at her any minute. A sigh. Only one thing he could do.

Shuuichi poked Lien on the side.

Still no response. It was going to take more than a poke to wake her up.

[The cafe is one Polly goes to now and then, too. it serves a particularly good currant cake that reminds her of an old and long-missing (and missed) friend, and she likes to order a slice now and then with her tea as a sort of memorial.]

[She'd made her way inside for just that purpose, when she noticed the esper slumped over the table. Tentatively, she reaches out to touch the other girl's shoulder.]

Lien...?

[Perhaps it was the presence of another psychic or Polly being especially lucky, but either way Lien's eyes fluttered open. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and yawned.

Huh?

[Polly smiles at her, slightly apologetic.]

You fell asleep... Are you alright?

[... Well, this is awkward! And saying that because of that certain conversation she had with a former roommate]

Oh, I'm okay! Just... I don't know. I felt like I had to go to sleep all of a sudden.

/fashionably late?

[Xion strolls into the coffee shop with a curious look on her face. she usually stops by the ice cream shop when she wants to grab a snack, but she figures she should try new things every now and then. it isn't until a few minutes after that she sees Lien; confused, she steps out of line to approach her friend. once by her side, she leans over, hands on her knees as she looks at the other girl.]

Lien?

[Lien turns her face towards the person speaking to her. She definitely heard Xion, she just didn't want to make the effort of opening up her eyelids.]

[well, that's a relief! ... sort of. Xion's still looking concerned though.]

Are you okay...?

Uhhhh... [A large yawn before she answers]

I'm sleepy.
