[Her cart's already half-full with assorted bottles of spices, but at least she's paying attention to the prices.]

6 credits for two apples... and 4 for the carton of strawberries. Aiya, but how long do they take to go bad?

[She starts digging around the rest of the fruit, trying to figure out by sight what won't go bad if she doesn't eat it for a few weeks.]

[Haruhi turns away from her meats, walking down another aisle, one she hasn't been down yet, but one that is very important. coffee! she likes tea more, but coffee is always good for a perk on those tough mornings.

she peers at the different flavors, wondering which ones would be good. she's used to getting regular coffee, not these fancy flavor ones...]
