Who: Treize Khushrenada and Dorothy Catalonia What: Tea When: February 21st - afternoon of Dorothy's first contact and after she has lunch with Shishiwakamaru Where: Room 3-15 Warnings: Scheming and the like
Making do seemed to be the order of the day. Dorothy arrived not very long after she had called, but had made sure to take her time so Treize wouldn't have to rush too much. It was only polite, after all.
A fact which the former general appreciated as the amount of time passed. He was well aware of where Dorothy and Shishiwakamaru had had lunch, but had pointedly left them be. He was curious how the news of her former relationship went by, there was little doubt the demon had mentioned it if she'd asked the right question.
Regardless, Treize was ready by the time the chime announced his cousin's presence. He opened the door with a polite smile and gestured her in.
"Naturally." If she was shaken by her talk with Shishiwakamaru, it didn't show, but that could be easily expected. She was quite well 'trained', after all. She stepped inside as she was invited, giving him a pleasant smile. Once inside with the door closed, however, the smile fell a little, and she just stared at him for a few moments.
"I... I still can't..." Believe this was true? Her cousin, dead almost two years, was standing before her as if nothing had happened to him. It was a bit much to take in.
They all had been trained as best their family could. Forcing them to act 'perfectly' through example and other methods. But at least with family, they could relax. A little. Never completely, which was a pity.
Regardless, after that door closed, Treize's smile turned a bit more honest. More real. Whatever else Dorothy was, family she most certainly was. And he honestly was fond of her, despite how... creepy... she could be.
"Wufei had some difficulty as well," he murmured, completely understanding her tongue-tied condition, and not taking advantage of it. "As far as I have discovered however, I simply have not 'remembered' dying." A fact that occasionally rather amused him, as that slight twist of his lips displayed.
He settled a gentle hand on her shoulder, squeezing just a little before guiding her towards the table and chairs.
