Although bored probably wasn't...quite the right word. Not really. Still, though, that was the best it could be surmised at the moment; after being thrown in the exact same featureless cell for a coupel of full nights on end, he'd pretty much investigated the whole little area to pieces, and then some. He'd given up on pacing in circles on the second day - clearly nothing was going to happen no matter how much he moved around - and so he'd finally resigned himself to perching on the edge of the bed, turning his cap over and over in his hands, and staring intently at the opposite wall, mind racing with the same thoughts.
There had to be a way out of this place - or at least this cell. Maybe some sort of puzzle, surely. Or a hidden button. Or something. But he just...couldn't...find it ( ... )
