[Stein makes himself get out of his room every now and again, even if it is cozy since he's made his renovations to it. That's why he's in the food court, drifting, looking for something good to snack on or an attractive beverage.
What he finds instead, of course, is Maka, and once he's spotted her he feels obligated to go say hello.]
Hey, Maka. [He gives her a little wave and a smile.] Working on homework?
[At the sound of her name, Maka raises her head -- blinking for a moment -- letting it register slowly and then flashes the smile. Yes, she's that out of it.]
[Xion just happens to be passing by the food court, ice cream in hand (of course), when she sees her friend! a smile slowly forming on her face, she approaches the table Maka is sitting at.]
[In Ed's opinion, the food court on the Thor was pretty badass. No matter what he was craving, he could usually find some place that sold it. Today though, he was just meandering through, letting his nose carry him were it willed.]
[And today it wanted a burrito. A big, warm, tasty, burrito with rice and beans and five kinds of meat and cheese and some of that guacogreen stuff and salsa (sour cream is just nasty)... And so after ordering the biggest one he could get from Chipotlay he looked for a place to sit and shove his purchase down his gullet.]
[And that's when he spots Maka, staring at some paper so hard it's liable to burst into flames at any moment. He unceremoniously walks over, pulls out the chair opposite hers, and plops down.]
You're going to go cross-eyed if you stare at that any harder.
