What: He's a ghost-hunter, and Barry was making a fuss about a new ghost haunting the ship.  The math isn't that hard to figure out.
Where: Somewhere in the endless hallways.

Winry walked through this hallway that Danny was inspecting. Considering it was early morning, she didn't really look her best. The girl's attire consisted of sweat pants, and a large t-shirt. Her hair was a mess too, not even in it's usual ponytail yet. The technician dragged her feet as she progressed down the hall, eyes in a sleepy daze.
Was was that at the end of the hallway? She couldn't tell. Sleep still in her eyes, her vision was clouded and she couldn't quite make out what she was seeing.

Danny slid into a standing position as he spotted a familiar face and quickly reminded himself that Phantom had never met Winry. Looked like it was time for plan A.

Act like strangers.

"Pardon me miss, have you seen anything suspicious in this area?"

Winry rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Who was this? He looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. Maybe if she wasn't still so tired, or focused on heading out to breakfast, then perhaps she'd be able to figure out who this kid reminded her of. The girl yawned into her palm, and then looked around.

"Nope. Have you?"

Danny allows himself to drift up into the air, not bothering to pretend that the ground was anything more than a guideline to him at the moment. Besides, the more he reinforced his image as a ghost now, the less likely anyone was to make a connection with the very human Danny Fenton.

"I'm investigating that at the moment. Rumor has it that a ghost octopus may be haunting this area."

Ukitake had always been rather fond of morning strolls. Even if the place in question had no discernible difference between morning and night, save for the change in the brightness of lights every now and then, it was a habit now practically ingrained into his being after a few thousand years practicing it. ...And even regardless of all that, walking in general helped him to clear his mind a bit in the mornings as he familiarized himself with the contours of the ship

Preoccupied with trying to figure which way to search next, Danny is completely blindsided when his ghost sense suddenly awakens. He immediately leaps into the air and twists to see as much of the hallway as possible, giving any spectators an excellent view of a form alight with a faint luminescence even in the relatively well-lit hallway and inhumanly green glowing eyes searching the corridor.

"Its no use hiding, I know you're there."

The boy leapt into the air, stayed in the air, was glowing, and...ah, his eyes were too. Ukitake paused at the other end of the hallway, momentarily startled by the strange sight. But there was no doubt about it - the reiatsu had already plumed and expanded, and now practically filled the entire corridor.

This...was interesting.

"Hiding? Oh, no, I'm not hiding, I just stepped in." He smiled sheepishly. "Ah, I'm sorry if I startled you..."

Danny looks startled for a moment. That guy again? For a moment he'd thought he'd finally tracked down Barry's octopus ghost. Danny smiles wryly and drops closer to the floor.

"Ah, sorry. I thought you were someone else."
