Hello Puck!

She's out in the hall, black ink spreading on the floor as she paints. No shapes or form yet as Hayabusa runs through the ink, making tiny paw prints everywhere. Wagging her tail, the ink suddenly disappears and she bounds after the pup, picking him up. Oh, he's starting to get heavy...

Time for a bath though.

"Depending on which side you're on, I could be..."

She glances at Hayabusa and shakes her head, "Adopted. Still, it's his bath time..."

[puckermannoah]

"What side of what?"

[motherofthesun]

"Will you cause harm to the innocent?"

[puckermannoah]

"That depends what you mean by harm and innocent," he replies, thinking about some of the 'pranks' he's played to 'geeks' in the past.

[motherofthesun]

"Even the kitsune plays harmless pranks... if you severely injure or kill someone, then we have a problem," she answers.

[puckermannoah]

"Kill? Why would I want to kill anyone?" He looks incredulous at that. "So tripping people doesn't count, I guess..."

[motherofthesun]

"Of course not."

She turns and begins after Hayabusa, tail flicking. The pup is rolling around, trying to bite his tail.

He watches them, still a little unsettled by the talking.

"Bath time, yeah? Need any... help?"

[motherofthesun]

Unsettled? Well, didn't really mean to be.

"Oh no. A little splashing in the lake will clean him up."

[puckermannoah]

"There's a lake around here?" He really hasn't gone out too much yet.

[motherofthesun]

"... Ah, you haven't been to the Gardens yet. Well, don't dawdle..."

She's trotting ahead now.

[puckermannoah]

"No..," he follows her, quiet for a moment before asking, "So you really don't have an owner?"

[motherofthesun]

"Unless 'owner' means 'father' in your world..." she replies, still walking. "But even then, I suppose that doesn't count."

[puckermannoah]

"I mean dogs usually have owners. You're a dog, aren't you..?" He's not sure any more by this point.

[motherofthesun]

"Wolf, young man..."

Maybe she should stand by a dog once just for people to understand. She's much too big to be a dog.
