All right, now that we've had a chance to look at the recipe from top to bottom, let's heat up our ovens and prepare our pans. Set your ovens to 350°F, and the vegetable shortening and flour are in the middle of the work centre with the pans. Brush on just enough shortening so it's visible but not to the point of caking it on. Then take a tablespoon of flour and gently tap it around. This will keep the cake from sticking to the side of the pan as it bakes.
