Who: Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Ran Fan (this ok for tag order?)
What: BIG DAY OUT AT THE ZOO to see Snarfle the new baby elephant
When: NOW
Where: the fabulous space zoo located on board the Thor
Warnings: no idea. Fluff???? UST between RoyAi? Overpriced food and souveniers?
( 20 credits for a soda?!? Roy, you're paying, right? )

[Ran Fan shifts from one foot to the other as Roy gets their tickets from the window, trying to see over the people ahead of them. Inside the big metal gates, she can hear lots of people talking, children laughing, animals growling and snuffling-- was that a lion?!]

[This is the first time she's been to a zoo, she knows the animals are in cages or enclosures and you look at them, but other than that she has no idea what to expect.]

[Hawkeye is just happy she's not regulated to the room anymore. Cheerful Hawkeye is a go! Ran Fan looks so wide-eyed at everything and they haven't even gone in yet awww]

(There are two things Roy doesn't like: loud, obnoxious kids, and huge crowds. These two things combined were the ingredients for a disaster in his mind, and as he waited to get their tickets, he was greeted by both of these horrors.

Despite this, Roy was pretty curious to see what exactly was at this zoo. Not to mention, they had put this off for a long time, and the break would be nice. So, with a small sigh, he pays.

After purchasing the tickets, he struggles to make his way back to the other two and hands them their tickets, just in time to hear a lion (a tiger? Some animal) roar.)

Well, it seems we're wanted inside. Shall we? (And thus, he starts making his way through the front gates.)

{Ran Fan is following at Roy's side like she's guarding him from DANGERS. These dangers would now include a class of preschoolers wearing bright orange smocks and holding onto a rope to stay in line]

Very excited. I have never gone to a zoo before.

[As they go inside, she hands her ticket to a tentacle-man and gets her right hand stamped. She is greeted by the smell of hay and dirt and popcorn and a bit of a whiff of animal smell-- not enough to be gross, but enough that you know there's animals around.]

[She turns to Riza, since the tentacle man gave her the map.]

Where do we go first?

[aw look sir they are cute in those little orange smocks, don't you just want to pat them on the head and never ever ever have any of your own?]

[She lets the man stamp her hand as well, and glances at the map over Ran Fan' shoulder (or more accurate, head, she's so tiny)]

Hm. If you start either here [she points to the POLAR BEAR enclosure on the map, to their immediate right in real life] or here [THE REPTILE HOUSE on their immediate left] we can circle around and make sure not to miss something you want to see.
