Thank you to everyone who managed to make it today. I think we've all talked about this at some time or another, so I'm glad we can all come together like this, and really think about moving forward, as a group.

If there's anything we need to accomplish today, it's working on not just members, but teams- groups who'll keep a watch around the ship. This is all volunteer stuff, so don't feel like you need to put yourself out there for anything, yet- but the more, the merrier! And feel free to speak up if you have any ideas of your own!

And thank you, once again--really!

[Asch is hanging out quietly in the back near the wall, trying not really trying to be as inconspicious as possible. He's really only here to listen to what the idiot has to say and maybe learn a few things about the space station and the other refugees. He doesn't plan on starting or getting involved in anything. Just watching - and from his current location, he can observe a fair portion of the room, as well as people filing in through the door.]

[Bruce is also standing towards the back of the room, but that's only because he prefers to leave the seats for other people. It's also a good way to see who showed up, and he's taking furious mental notes of who is- and who isn't- there.]

[He's still listening very closely to what everyone is saying. It's funny, almost, watching the same thing happen nearly 40 years later. At least this time no one will ask if they're a bunch of super friends.]

But in reality, she's hanging toward the back until such a moment that she can add anything of worth. If she can; otherwise this is an exercise in observation and learning, much like both Asch and Bruce appear to be doing for now. It's also a matter of practicality; she knows how fast she can move, but from here, she can watch the room, and she can choose what she keeps at her back.

She does wait to see if she can catch Bruce's eye, and nod in his direction if she does. Waiting wasn't something she liked to do, but she'd forcibly gotten better at it over the last three years. ]

[Tear sits down at one of the tables, slowly eating a piece of cake and taking mental notes about who is there. She's chosen a spot that will let her see everyone as they come in and ensure that if trouble starts she can be where she needs to be quickly. For now she simply takes slow forkfuls of cake, every now and then catching Luke's eyes to ensure he stays serious about things.]

[Eureka arrives on time, maybe even a bit sooner. She brings with her a small basket with cookies like she said she would, and a notebook under her arm.

She first goes set the cookies at the table with the snacks, a bit of difficulty considering the table was already rather full. That done, she sits down at the table, taking notes for herself as the meeting progresses.]
