[DID SOMEONE SAY CROSSING THE WRONG WAY, I THINK SO!!
Because the door is flying open and Hughes already has a hand up in signature giddiness. It didn't even look like he moved to turn the knob or anything, but that was just one of the carefully learned skills of trolling someone within an inch of their will.
And what's that that came in with him? Why, only the wonderful sound of old exciting music! Old annoying, happy, mind-numbing music. It's the only kind that fits him like a glove, after all. And of course Hughes was getting wonderful sleep with the music playing, despite the situation.]
(It was bad enough that they came home late and woke up early, the least the ship could was provide its inhabitants some time to sleep. He had lay awake in bed the whole night, trying desperately to find the damn speakers that omitted such a horrible sound. When he realized he wasn't getting any sleep, he had moved to the dining room. After all, he didn't want to blow up his own room.
And here he was, with his head on the table and his arms covering his head in an attempt to block out the music. When he heard that disgustingly excited music, he yelled and banged his fist on the table. But, of course, the only thing that could be heard was that damn music.
[Hawkeye's seated across from her superior and has been for SEVERAL HOURS. She also has a cup of coffee. Not tea. This situation is serious. At Hughes' very noisy arrival she just grits her teeth and rubs her temple to dispel the migraine lurking there.]
[IGNORING THAT STARE THNX so how's the weather you guys? He'll just pull out a chair and sit, his smile almost falling off the sides of his face. It feels so good to be alive~! Ah, the not-birds, the not-trees, the wonderful blue sky endless void of space!! Joy to the world universe!]
(And he just glares. WHO THE HELL SAID YOU COULD SIT DOWN?! He starts speaking, completely forgetting the consequences behind such an action. And let's just say bold is the cue cards because I FAIL)
No. I'm afraid there isn't. I suggest you find your coffee somewhere else. (As soon as he sees that cue card his anger rises and he considers trying to burn it. But, instead, he just glares at that as well, before placing his head in his hands.)
